A picture of what the DE Lite will look like
Nintendo have announced they will launch a new smaller, thinner version of their hand-held console Nintendo DS.
The gadget will be two thirds of the size of the current one, and its duel screen will be 20% lighter to look at.
The console, which will be called Nintendo DS Lite, will be in shops in Japan in March. No date has been announced for a UK release.
The Nintendo DS went on sale in the UK in March, and more than 14.4 million have been sold around the world so far.
The gaming company says they plan to carry on making Nintendo DS for those want to stick with the chunkier version.
Um and this has to do with the blind community because why?
Uhm I'l remind you not everyone here is blind. If he wants to post such things, there's nothing wrong with that. Furthermore, I'm sure some visually impaired people around here might find it interesting.
blind community related issues can be posted here, but so can issues to those who are not blind or disabled! Nintendo ds stuff is intresting, even though I can't use it myself because I can't see to use it. the games console world is an ever changing place.
Ok, valid enough, just made me question is all.
Not everyone here is blind Dragonfire. I'm Visually impaired and can see well enough to play videogames. The Nintendo DS is a bit to confusing for me having two screens to look at and that's basically the main reason why I haven't bought one.
